March 2002 [<<] AD-AS APPEARS ON PRIME TIME The Approach™ for the Sink from AD-AS, Boise, Idaho, has made an appearance on prime time television. In two episodes of the NBC drama "Providence," one of the main characters, Joanie, developed a love interest with Phil, who has a disability. The couple visited Phil's apartment, where Approach was featured. Approach for the Sink is one of AD-AS' universal design products, which are used by a range of people, including those with disabilities. By pushing a button, the user can adjust the system by raising or lowering the sink. It features a proprietary flexible drain kit to accommodate the sink's vertical movement and allows for ample knee space.
