September 2002 [<<] BOISE FURNITURE COMPANY RANKED 27TH IN NATION AD-AS, a Boise-based manufacturer of specialty furniture, ranked 27th in the Wood 100 Report. The report is produced annually by Wood & Wood Products magazine and ranks the top 100 wood product manufacturers based on revenue growth over the past two consecutive years. This year's report was sub-titled, Defying the Odds in a Down Economy, highlighting companies that have fine-tuned their strategies and skills to excel through the rocky economic times. AD-AS realized revenue growth of 33% and 36% in the past two fiscal years. Much of this growth is attributed to a more effective marketing program and a well-designed website. Alliances with key distributors also played a large role in the company's revenue growth. Despite the current economic conditions, AD-AS anticipates revenue growth of 38% for FY2002. The company's outlook for 2003 is extremely positive as products developed during 2002 enter the sales and marketing channels.
